Last updated: June 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI+ Local (“AI+ Local,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). It also describes the choices and rights you have. We collect the minimum needed to operate the Service, we do not sell personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking on the Service. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you join a waitlist, sign in, hold an account, subscribe to a Pro Report, or contact us, you provide information such as your email address, the business or businesses you ask us to track, and the contents of your correspondence. If you purchase a subscription, your payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record standard log data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and settings, referring pages, and the date and time of your requests. We use a strictly necessary cookie or similar local storage to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies.
2. How We Use Information
- to operate, maintain, and secure the Service, and to authenticate your sign-in;
- to provide the Pro Report and to send the reports and service messages you have opted into;
- to process subscriptions and payments;
- to respond to your inquiries and to provide support;
- to detect, prevent, and address abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- to comply with our legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom apply to you, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract with you, such as providing an account or a Pro Report; our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the Service; your consent, such as when you opt into reports or a waitlist, which you may withdraw at any time; and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. With vendors who process information on our behalf and under our instructions, in categories such as hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing. A current list of these providers is available on request.
- Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AI+ Local, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information and notify you of any change in control of your data.
- At your direction. When you ask us to share your information or otherwise direct us to do so.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International Data Transfers
We operate the Service from, and use service providers in, the United States and other countries. Your information may be processed in a country whose data protection laws differ from those of your own country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@aipluslocal.com. You may unsubscribe from reports and other non-essential email at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us, and you may ask us to delete your account at any time. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and you may exercise your rights by contacting us at the address above.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by adults in a business context and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Sites and AI Outputs
The Service links to and relies on third-party websites and AI assistants. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this Policy does not apply to them. Please review their policies before providing them with your information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
